We are back!  I hope you enjoyed a summer full of good times and also, why not? With a lot of Art.  Even on vacation, I cannot avoid art, and I find myself visiting museums, fairs and galleries, as part of my rutine during the holidays, and even more if I visit cities for the first time or go back to my favuorite ones.

In almost all the big cities of the world, there are many opportunities to see great exhibitions in its museums during the summer months. I visit the Museo del Prado every summer with my children and little by little we discover it a little bit more, and it has become a holiday routine.

This summer in Madrid, we were able to enjoy quite a few interesting exhibitions. I particularly enjoyed the exhibition with works by Vasarelly at the Thyssen Museum. I was fascinated by his Op Art works and to see all his artistic evolution. There were rooms that I did not want to leave! I stayed hypnotized for hours with its geometric designs! I liked it so much that I went to see it several times!!!

My first summer destination was the Costa del Sol and I was able to take the opportunity to visit the Art Fair ArtMarbella. I love visiting art fairs in summer, they are usually in smaller cities and quieter so it becomes a fantastic opportunity to meet kreislerart artists and make good friends.

In Marbella you can also make a visit to the MGEC where, this summer, they had a wonderful show of Jaume Plensa`s engarvings works that I enjoyed very much.

Also this summer I had the opportunity to visit Dubai and see in firsthand its artistic panorama, with institutions such as the Sharhja Art Foundation, which makes a very interesting diffusion of local and international art and art promotion areas such as  Alserkal where several local galleries have a very interesting art program from the Middle East and all over the world.

What was undoubtedly very special for me was spending a few days in an open-air museum such as the nature of the Maldives, where the colors and tones of the sea and the thousands of colorful fish seemed a picture difficult to match to anything else in the world. It has been an amazing experience.

And you, what have you done with Art this summer?
